WASHINGTON (7News) – In one of the wealthiest cities in the United States, homelessness is on the rise. Washington, D.C. has seen a 12% increase in homelessness since last year, according to a report from the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments, which also said the number of people served by housing programs reached an all-time high this year.
