WATCH: Giant pandas take advantage of snow day at National Zoo

WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — The National Zoo’s newest pandas took a romp in the snow after a heavy storm brought about five inches to the DMV.

Giant pandas, Bao Li and Qing Bao, danced, played, rolled and stomped in the snow.

Pandas will debut at National Zoo in January

“Flakes stuck to their fur as the bears frolicked and somersaulted,” the National Zoo said in a post on X. “Paws-itively the panda snowment of our dreams!”

People will be able to meet the pandas on Friday, Jan. 24.
