Suspects flee with stolen car after armed carjacking in D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Two suspects remain at large after an armed carjacking on Sheridan Road in Southeast D.C., where a victim was forced to surrender their vehicle at gunpoint.

The incident occurred Thursday, July 18, at approximately 7:00 p.m. in the 2700 block of Sheridan Road. The suspects approached the victim, brandished handguns, and demanded the keys to the vehicle. The victim complied, and the suspects fled the scene in the stolen car. The vehicle has since been recovered.
