We are still almost a week out and a lot can change, but right now snow lovers are rejoicing as there are strong signals for a winter storm that may materialize mid/late next week.
Due to how far out the threat is, the National Weather Service (NWS) has the entire area under the ‘limited’ category, which means “Light snow and/or sleet accumulation will result in locally hazardous travel conditions, especially on bridges, overpasses, and untreated or secondary roads.”
This weekend will be wet with the slight possibility of a little ice mixed in Saturday that would quickly wash away. Temperatures will increase to near 60° on Sunday, with showers possible early and a breezy afternoon. We’ll continue to monitor the snow threat for next week, which would be from anytime late Wednesday to all day Thursday…
