D.C. Metropolitan Police Have Charged Man With January’s Fatal Shooting

WASHINGTON, DC.- On Friday, a 19-year-old Northeast, D.C. man was taken into custody and jailed after being charged in connection with the fatal shooting of a 21-year-old man that occurred on January 25, 2025, in Northeast, D.C.
According to D.C. Metropolitan Police Chief Pamela A. Smith, on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at around 1:15 a.m., members of the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department’s Sixth District responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting an unresponsive man on the 3800 Block of Jay Street in Northeast, D.C.
Police Find Man Shot Dead
Upon arrival, Police Officers located a man, later identified as Antoine Pratt, 21, of Northeast, D.C., unresponsive from multiple gunshot wounds. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services pronounced Mr. Pratt deceased at the scene…
