Drug Dealer Who Posed With Handgun Used In Montgomery County Murder Learns Prison Fate

A 22-year-old Maryland man will spend decades in prison after being convicted of murdering Walter Woods during a drug deal gone bad in Montgomery County, the state’s attorney’s office announced.

Javier Reyes, 23, of Silver Spring, was sentenced to 50 years in prison with 30 to serve after being found guilty of felony murder and use of a handgun in a crime of violence in connection to the death of the 20-year-old Takoma Park resident.
