Suspects fire toy gel blaster at NW DC convenience store worker: Police report

WAHINGTON (7News) — D.C. police are investigating after two suspects fired a toy gel blaster at a convenience store employee in Northwest Wednesday afternoon.

According to a Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) report, officers responded around 4 p.m. to a store along 40th Street NW, where an employee said two individuals had been playing with a gel plaster toy gun inside the business.

The employee told them to leave, which they initially did. However, the police report states the suspects returned a short time later, and the worker told MPD the toy gel blaster was fired at him…
