Man charged after attempted robbery in Northwest DC

WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — A man was arrested after he tried to rob someone in Northwest D.C. on Friday afternoon, according to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).

Police said the incident happened just before 2 p.m. on March 7, when a man, 27-year-old Kevin Washington, approached the victim in the 5500 block of Connecticut Avenue.
