The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) has arrested 20-year-old Roniyah Thomas of District Heights, MD, in connection with an attempted murder and attempted carjacking in Chevy Chase on February 4, 2025.
Thomas allegedly shot the victim after demanding his car keys, and she has been charged with attempted murder, first-degree assault, and attempted carjacking following her arrest on March 13, 2025.
