“A lucky Silver Spring man who enjoys a variety of Maryland Lottery games may be partial to scratch-offs for a while after a recent visit to a local retailer. Sometimes he chooses to play Keno or Pick 3, but it was a MONOPOLY X100 ticket that delivered a $50,000 prize.
The Montgomery County man was at Old World Favorites located at 3854 International Drive in Silver Spring when he bought three of the $20 tickets. While the first two weren’t winners, the third ticket fittingly included a number 3 on the second-to-last row of the play area. That matched one of the Winning Numbers at the top of the ticket, and when he scratched off the corresponding prize amount, he got a $50,000 surprise…
