WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — Officers are investigating after a teenage boy was injured in a Northwest shooting overnight, D.C. police said.
Just after 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 13, officers responded to the intersection of 14th and R streets, NW, for a reported shooting.
There, officers said they found a 14-year-old boy who had been shot. Police added that he was “conscious and breathing” and that medics took him to the hospital for treatment.
