Man hurt in Southeast DC shooting

WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — A man was hospitalized after a Wednesday shooting in Southeast D.C., according to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).

Police say officers responded to reports of a shooting at around 2:20 p.m. in the 2700 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Ave. SE.

DC police searching for suspect after pursuit of stolen vehicle

According to police, a man was found conscious and breathing, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was then transported to a local hospital by DC Fire and EMS.
