Takoma Park Police are investigating a stabbing incident that occurred on April 22 at approximately 12:28 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a stabbing on the 6900 block of New Hampshire Avenue, near the Sunoco gas station.
Upon arrival, officers found two individuals with visible injuries on the scene. An investigation determined that a verbal altercation between the two individuals escalated into a physical confrontation, resulting in one person being stabbed. Witnesses attempted to intervene, and both individuals remained at the scene until police arrived.
