Large tree branch breaks onto Northwest home, downs power lines

WASHINGTON (7News) — A branch broke off a tree in Northwest, D.C., Saturday afternoon onto a house with three people inside, according to D.C. Fire & EMS officials.

Nobody in the house was injured when a branch fell onto an enclosed patio connected to the house, downing a few power lines. Urban Forestry and PEPCO Energy personnel arrived at the house in the 6300 block of Oregon Avenue, NW, to assess the damage…
