Maryland man arrested for DC burglary

WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) arrested a suspect in a residential burglary on Wednesday.

MPD said that at some point between April 17 around 10:30 p.m. and April 18 around 5 a.m., someone broke into an inhabited residence in the 100 block of I St. SE.

Police said that the suspect took items before escaping.
