The Metropolitan Police Department is reaching out to the public for help in identifying two individuals and a vehicle linked to a recent shooting incident in the Northwest area of the city. The shooting took place on the evening of Saturday, May 3, and left one man injured.
According to the official report, the incident unfolded shortly after 10:00 p.m. on the 2500 block of Ontario Road, Northwest, when Third District officers were called to respond to the emergency. The police, upon their arrival, discovered an adult male who was awake and responsive, despite suffering from a gunshot wound that was deemed non-life-threatening. The victim was promptly taken by DC Fire and EMS to a local hospital to receive the necessary medical treatment, as the Metropolitan Police Department stated.
Investigators have now turned to residents for assistance, urging anyone with information that could lead to the identification of the implicated persons or vehicle to step forward.
