I’m writing to see if there was a resolution to an incident I saw this morning near Woodley Park on Calvert St. A dark gold, mixed breed dog around 50 lbs broke loose from its owner, darted into the street, got hit by a car, and then sprinted toward Connecticut Ave.
From what I saw, none of the people in the dog’s path who tried to help were unable to corral the dog. I’m hoping there was a happy resolution to the incident and that the dog and its owner are reunited and ok.“…
