Shooting in parking lot of Northeast DC school caught on camera

WASHINGTON — Police are asking for the public’s help to find three men accused of shooting at another person in the parking lot of a school earlier this month. Metropolitan Police Department investigators released surveillance video of the shooting on Thursday.

According to detectives, the shooting happened on May 1 in the 700 block of 26th Street Northeast. Just before 4:30 p.m., the three suspects were in a parking lot of a school. They shot toward another person who was near the school and then took off in a vehicle. No one was hurt in the shooting, but the school was damaged, police said.
