WASHINGTON, D.C. (7News) — A series of shootings across Washington, D.C., overnight left multiple people injured, according to officials from the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).
The first shooting occurred at midnight. MPD officers responded to a local hospital where three adult females arrived with gunshot wounds. Authorities said all three are being treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Preliminary investigations suggest the shooting occurred near East Capitol Street and Benning Road. Sixth District detectives are currently.
Then, at approximately 12:15 a.m., Third District officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of Columbia Road, NW, for another shooting incident. Police found an adult male conscious and breathing with gunshot wounds. He was transported to a hospital for treatment. Third District detectives are investigating this case…
