Police: Facebook Marketplace deal turns into armed robbery in DC

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — A Facebook marketplace deal went wrong on Sunday night in D.C.

Around 9:10 p.m. on May 11, D.C. police officers responded to the 2300 block of 20th St., NW, for a report of an armed robbery.

The suspect was described as a man around 18-20 years old, 5-foot-8-inches, stocky, short haircut, wearing a black button shirt, black pants and armed with a handgun.

The victim was not injured during the incident…
