Richland County Sheriff’s Department K9s Wick, Kodak and Bumi were among 21 specially trained police dogs honored at this year’s National Police K9 Memorial Service held on May 11, at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington, DC.
The Memorial Service included a wreath-laying ceremony to honor the memory of fallen police K-9s that game their lives in the line of duty last year.
