Crews respond to DC row house fire

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — DC Fire and EMS crews were at the scene of a fire that broke out on Thursday afternoon in Northwest D.C.

In a social media post made shortly after noon, officials said the fire was in the 1400 block of Newton Street NW. There, a fire had broken out on the deck in the back of a three-story row house.

The fire had extended to the second floor and the deck of a nearby home.

By 12:34 p.m., firefighters had knocked down the fire and were checking for extensions. No one was reportedly hurt and crews were checking for potential displacements…
