Road reopens in Southeast DC after sinkhole shuts it down

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — DC Water said a road in Southeast has reopened after a sinkhole shut it down for a couple of days.

Flooding cleanup, repairs along C&O Canal underway as DMV region prepares for more rain

Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue reopened on Thursday after crews repaired the sinkhole that opened up on Monday.

Officials said the sinkhole appeared after a 20-inch water main break.
