WASHINGTON — Shrieking, car horns and police sirens could be heard on U Street just after midnight Saturday as a group of minors appeared to stomp and kick another teen who had fallen onto the pavement of a busy intersection, witness video shows.
The attack was filmed by a WUSA9 employee at the intersection of U and 14th Streets at around 12:30 a.m. Saturday. Teens crowded the crosswalk and intersection to apparently watch and take part in the attack.
The Metropolitan Police Department arrived within minutes of the attack, blaring their sirens and sending the crowd, who were identified as minors from D.C. and Maryland, running in different directions…
