WASHINGTON — As violent teen takeovers continue to disrupt neighborhoods across Washington, D.C., city leaders and business owners are stepping up efforts to curb the chaos. The latest incident unfolded early Saturday morning at the intersection of 14th and U Street NW, where a group of teens was seen swarming the area, assaulting people and blocking traffic.
Video captured by WUSA9 shows disturbing scenes from around 12:30 a.m., including fights in the middle of the street.
