14-year-old clings to life after D.C. triple shooting leaves two dead

WASHINGTON, DC — A shooting late Friday night on a Southeast DC street left two young males dead and another teen fighting for his life, prompting a double homicide investigation by the city’s Major Case Squad.

Officers responded around 10:19 p.m. to the 4200 block of 4th Street, Southeast, after multiple gunshots were reported. When they arrived, they found three male victims suffering from gunshot wounds in the roadway.

A 16-year-old boy, Royell Walker, and a 19-year-old man, Jamar Jackson — both residents of Southeast — were pronounced dead at the scene. A 14-year-old male was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to police…
