Teenager arrested for two DC armed carjackings

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Police arrested a 14-year-old girl for two armed carjackings that took place on May 8.

The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said that the first armed carjacking took place just before 1:35 p.m. Suspects walked up to the victim, who was in their car, in the 6600 block of Georgia Ave. NW. One of the suspects had a handgun, showed it to the victim and demanded that they get out of their car.
