Man arrested months after 70-year-old stabbed to death in Southeast DC

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Months after a 70-year-old Maryland man was found stabbed to death in a Southeast D.C. roadway, police said a suspect has been arrested.

At around 3:40 a.m. on Sept. 10, 2024, officers were sent to the 4600 block of Livingston Road for a crash.

At the scene, they found an unoccupied vehicle on the sidewalk and a man, later identified as Johnathan Reeves, of Upper Marlboro, lying in the road with stab wounds, according to the Metropolitan Police Department…
