WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — A D.C. man was sentenced after an incident at a Wawa in 2022 where he pointed his gun at two individuals, a release stated.
On Jan. 22, 2022, 49-year-old Charles Edwards got into an argument with another man near a Wawa. The man fled into the store but Edwards followed him before he was escorted out by a special police officer.
Minutes later, Edwards went back to the store and continued chasing the victim, according to court documents.
