Around 100 firefighters respond to Northwest DC house fire

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Over 100 firefighters are on the scene of a house fire in Northwest D.C., according to DC Fire and EMS (DCFD).

Firefighters responded to reports of a house fire in the 3800 block of Albamarle St. NW, where heavy flames could be seen coming from the home.

Tenants say church took down Pride decorations at DC apartment building

The fire had started in the basement and then extended to all floors of the two-and-a-half-story home. According to firefighters, the bulk of the flames have been extinguished and it took about 30 minutes.

No injuries have been reported, but two adults, two children and one dog have been displaced…
