DC road closures begin ahead of military parade Saturday

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Ongoing security preparations for Saturday’s military parade near the National Mall caused new headaches for drivers in rush hour traffic Wednesday.

Miles of fencing continue to be erected around security perimeters for the multi-million-dollar parade commemorating the 250th birthday of the Army, which will utilize Constitution Avenue in Northwest as the parade route.

Which DC roads will be closed for the Army parade?

DC officials are sharing an updated map for road and pedestrian closures ahead of, during and following the parade. A map for commuters and event attendees can be found below.
