WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — A double-homicide investigation is underway in the District after two men were found shot in Northeast overnight.
At around 12:30 a.m. on June 22, officers responded to the 400 block of 19th Street for a shooting. There, they found two men suffering from gunshot wounds, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
Neither of the men were breathing or conscious when officers found them, police noted. Medics tried to save the pair, but they died.
