Man charged in shooting that left two teens dead, another hurt, police say

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — A man was arrested Wednesday in connection with a Southeast D.C. shooting that left two teenagers dead last month, according to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).

Police say Sean McFadden, 23, was charged with premeditated first-degree murder while armed.

On May 23 at 10:19 p.m., officers received reports of a shooting in the 4200 block of 4th Street, SE, where three teenagers were found suffering from gunshot wounds lying in the road.

Despite life-saving measures by DC Fire and EMS, Royell Walker, 16, and Jamar Jackson, 19, died at the scene. A 14-year-old boy was also hurt and was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries…
