D.C. Sues Maryland Woman For Nearly $170K in Unpaid Traffic Fines

The D.C. Attorney General’s Office has filed a lawsuit against a Maryland woman accused of racking up more than 400 unpaid traffic violations in Washington, D.C., totaling nearly $170,000 in outstanding fines.

According to the complaint, Ashley Kibler, a Maryland resident, is alleged to have accumulated 414 traffic tickets tied to a D.C. driver’s license and four sets of license plates, two from Maryland and two from Virginia. The unpaid citations span from 2019 to 2024 and amount to $168,168.

In addition to Kibler, the District has also filed lawsuits against Maryland residents Andrea Reid and Terrell Jenkins, along with Sean Hudson of Virginia. Each is accused of owing tens of thousands of dollars in fines related to traffic offenses committed within the District…
