Daughter of slain DC man speaks out, demands justice for her father’s violent death

WASHINGTON (7News) — In a deeply emotional interview, 7News spoke to the daughter of 55-year-old Donnel Bracket Phillips, who was struck and killed in D.C. before the teen suspect allegedly robbed him back on May 7, 2025.

Seventeen-year-old Kyree Young was arrested and charged with first-degree murder while armed. It is a felony.
