Woman pulls out knife when confronted after shoplifting in Wheaton, police say

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — The Montgomery County Department of Police is seeking help identifying a suspect after she stole from a business in Wheaton.

On Tuesday, June 3, around 1 p.m., a woman was seen entering a store in the 11100 block of Viers Mill Road and stealing merchandise. After she was stopped, the suspect allegedly pulled out a knife and left the scene in a black van.

The suspect was seen wearing a red shirt with a graphic print, black hat, black leggings, white shoes and a possible tattoo on her inner left forearm.
