Free fare on July 4! Metro users ride for free after 5 pm

WASHINGTON (7News) — Travel during the holidays can be stressful, but Metro is here to help.

There will be free Metro fares for all from 5 p.m. until close on Metrorail, Metrobus, and MetroAccess on Friday, according to officials from the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA).
