WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Emergency crews were on the Potomac River Saturday night, working to rescue someone who was in the water near the Key Bridge.
DC Fire and EMS posted on the X platform at 10:59 p.m. that it had a report that a person went into the river but did not come up.

Within minutes of the initial post, DC Fire and EMS provided an update to say rescuers found the person and were on the back to shore.
By 11:20 p.m., medics were on their way to the hospital with the person. DC Fire and EMS said the person’s injuries were critical…
