Man arrested in deadly Landover shooting over Fourth of July weekend, police say

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — Police on Thursday said they arrested a man after a deadly shooting that broke out in Landover over the weekend.

The Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD) said they believe 21-year-old Damarion Jones shot 21-year-old J’len Livingston during a dispute.

Police responded to the shooting at about 1 a.m. in the 7500 block of Allendale Drive on July 6 and took Livingston to the hospital, where he passed away from his injuries.
