Black-owned art gallery brings out popular DC artists including Shy Glizzy

WASHINGTON (7News) — A Black-owned art gallery in Union Market is open and ready for a showcase.

The Chela Mitchell Gallery, which opened in 2021 in Union Market, kicked off its first exhibit, “You See Where I’m Coming From?” curated by notable rapper and southeast D.C. native, Shy Glizzy.
