Proposal would outlaw stopping in bike lanes

The College Park City Council will hold a public hearing on Aug. 6 on a proposal to make it a violation for a car to park or stand in a bike lane.

This change to the city code would mean that drivers of delivery and supply trucks will not be allowed to stop in a bike lane to unload on a city-owned street.
