Carjacking in Northeast DC caught on camera, police seek help to ID suspect

WASHINGTON (7News) — An armed carjacking in Northeast D.C. was caught on camera, and Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) officials have released the images in an attempt to find the man responsible.

At approximately 3:45 a.m. on June 7, a group of men approached the driver of a parked van on the 900 block of Eastern Avenue, Northeast. One man pulled out a rifle and demanded that the driver get out of the car.
