Man robbed, stabbed in DC before arriving at hospital, police say

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — A man who was the victim of a stabbing in D.C. transported himself to the hospital late afternoon to early evening on Sunday, police said.

Shortly after 4:50 p.m., on July 20, D.C. officers responded to the report of a stabbing in the 1200 block of Pecan St., Southeast.

A man had self-transported himself to an area hospital where officers found him with non-life-threatening stab wounds. The victim reported being robbed between 1-1.5 hours prior when he met with the two suspects, according to a police report. The two individuals then robbed him of his cellphone and other items including his credit cards and work badge.
