No arrests made during U Street juvenile curfew, one arrested during citywide DC curfew

WASHINGTON (7News) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said there were no violations or arrests that occurred during its second Juvenile Curfew Zone, this past weekend, but did have 17 curfew stops in the hours after citywide.

“Each night, members of the Third District engaged youth gathered in public areas within the zone and gained voluntary compliance. No violations or arrests occurred during the hours of the Juvenile Curfew Zone,” MPD reported.

The Juvenile Curfew Zone went into effect from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings, followed by a D.C. citywide curfew from 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m…
