Crews spray Bowie neighborhoods after mosquito found with West Nile virus in Maryland

BOWIE, Md. (DC News Now) — A mosquito in Maryland was found with the West Nile virus recently. The illness can cause serious brain and spinal cord diseases like Encephalitis and Meningitis.

The City of Bowie announced on Monday that a mosquito was captured and tested positive for the virus.
