Deadly shootings and drug activity has Shaw residents concerned about neighborhood safety

WASHINGTON (7News) — On the steps of the Kennedy Recreation Center on 7th Street, NW, two blocks from where a 21-year-old intern from Massachusetts was shot and killed by a stray bullet, dozens of concerned and worried neighbors took to the streets of Shaw.

They looked to their 3rd District Commander, Sean Connors, for answers.
