WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — A D.C. man was sentenced to over 12 years in prison for his role in multiple “inside-job” robberies at a Walgreens in Chinatown, according to the United States Attorney’s Office (USAO) for the District of Columbia.
Michael Robinson, 35, pleaded guilty in March to charges of conspiracy to interfere with interstate commerce by robbery–Hobbs Act robbery– and to using, carrying, possessing, and brandishing a firearm during a crime of violence and aiding and abetting.
In addition to his sentence, Williams is ordered to serve five years of supervised release and pay over $7,000 in restitution.
