Suitland apartment fire leaves four displaced

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — Four people are without a home and a firefighter was taken to the hospital for evaluation after a fire ignited at a Suitland apartment complex Sunday night, according to officials.

Firefighters responded to the fire at the Andrews Ridge Apartments in the 5600 block of Regency Park Court just before 10 p.m. There, they found smoke coming from one of the apartment buildings.

Crews quickly extinguished the flames, which left two adults and two children displaced, according to the Prince George’s County Fire Department.
