Breakthrough in Northwest DC Armed Robbery Case, 25-Year-Old Zamar Sharpe Arrested and Charged

Authorities have made a breakthrough in a robbery case that unsettled the Northwest neighborhood earlier this year. The Metropolitan Police Department confirmed the arrest of 25-year-old Zamar Sharpe in connection with the armed robbery that took place back in January. According to the police report, the incident involved suspects who, having exited a vehicle, brandished a gun at the victim and took their property before fleeing in a vehicle.

The original incident that sparked the investigation happened on January 26, around 5:55 a.m. on the 1800 block of 2nd Street, Northwest. Arrested on a DC Superior Court warrant last Saturday, Sharpe is now facing charges for his alleged participation.
