WASHINGTON – The Corporation for Public Broadcasting says it will wind down its operations this year after a loss of federal funding.
CPB informed its employees Friday that the majority of staff positions will conclude with the close of the fiscal year on Sept. 30, according to a news release from the organization. The CPB says a small transition team will remain through January 2026 to ensure a responsible and orderly closeout of operations.
